Well Body Care
Our Certified Nurse Midwives are here to help you care for your body and pelvic health at every stage of life

Feeling good in your body is important to us
Our Certified Nurse Midwives are dedicated to practicing trauma-informed and compassionate care to help you feel safer while receiving well body care. Many well body appointments and health screenings can even be done without disrobing and with minimal touch. When touch does need to happen, it is always consensual.
Our well body care includes:
Whole body care, screenings, and lab work (sometimes called an annual exam)
Addressing urinary or pelvic floor concerns
Breast/chest health and assessment
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) testing and treatment
Decisions and referrals about hormone treatment
Emotional wellbeing and holding space for challenges
Both holistic and pharmacological mental and emotional health support, including resources and referrals
Guidance on nutrition, body movement, vaccines, and other ways of caring for your body
Care for your sexual wellbeing — validating concerns about comfort and holding space for changes and exploration
Pregnancy prevention, including IUD insertions and prescriptions for hormonal contraceptives
Your menstrual health and what your cycles are like for you (if you have them)
On site blood draws for screenings and testing
Care for Tweens + Teens
Puberty is full of changes that can be scary and overwhelming for the person going through it and for the adults who care for them. Our Certified Nurse Midwives are here to support, listen, and help take the shame out of discussing what is happening when puberty hits.
We are passionate about providing education and advocacy for young humans who are going through puberty and into young adulthood. Our Certified Nurse Midwives are here to help you through the feelings and physical changes that come with menstrual cycles and your changing body.
Also, when you’re ready, we’re here to help you navigate safer and consensual sex. We’re here to care for and support you, without shame or judgement.
Perimenopause + Menopause
As your body moves into perimenopause and menopause, you’ll have different needs than you did before. Your body is changing again and in ways we don’t often talk about (except to make fun of) in our culture. We know that life is still full of meaning, vibrancy, and pleasure as we get older. Our Certified Nurse Midwives are here to help you understand what is and will be happening over the years as you move through perimenopause and menopause and look forward to having thoughtful conversations around your body’s needs and your goals for this time of your life.
